I knew I had this same issue when I first bought the printer but once I was able to calibrate to an image the results were great. I purchased new toner and this is driving me nuts because the color is close but not great. The Machine and Manual online mention under Maintenance Adjustments a lot of options but I cannot find how to do this again-the best I can find is printing a banded sheet and it does not get great results.Īuto Adjust Graduation (1) Full Adjust (2) Quick Adjust (3) Adjust Copy Image (both 1 and 2 print banded sheet) I did this with a number of book covers and board game materials with good color saturation and it worked great. I could take (1) an image or photo and it would (2) scan / print, and (3) it would then scan the print and print again. The basic adjustments weren't working great, leaving dull and off colors when scanning or printing.Īfter a lot of trial and error I had discovered I could "calibrate" using PHOTOS / IMAGES (not printed) that the machine would scan & match the print repeatedly. Does anyone know how to "calibrate" to a photo? I did this a couple years back but cannot find the option for the life of me!Ī couple years ago I was having issues calibrating the color on my Canon ImageClass MF733cdw.
